Medium amber with a fine, brown core. Aromas of candied orange zest with subtle red berry nuances, nougat, a touch of mocha and plum confit. Immensely fine and silky on the palate, sweet tropical fruit, including exotic lychee, a touch of dried plum, subtle acidic structure, harmonious balance with a lightness and versatile. An immensely fine and elegant tawny port that lives from its precision. Bottled 1977.  97pts
