Such an amazing wine, liked it even more then the 2012. This was more broad and open on the palate. Full of tropical and honeyed notes. Very complex, very concentrated and super delicious! Drink -2035.

Nose quite muted on opening, with a slightly musty aroma that blew off with a few minutes in the glass, revealing a delicious mature and complete wine. Still some fresh saline and citrus notes, but balanced with a rich and mature nutty character. Interesting stuff, and in a great place right now.

Whilst this will continue to age gracefully for several years it is glorious right now. The typical roundness of Culs de Beaujeu is evident – despite great citrus fruit, minerality and a supple smokiness – great long, saline finish. Really refreshing on its own but would be wonderful with seafood

Superb. A remarkable wine, deep and rich with lovely amalgam of citrus, stone fruit, melon, mineral in a layered reveal across the palate through a long finish. Fresh and balanced, with an acid/fruit dance that made me recall the best a great Riesling offers, albeit with Sauvignon Blanc essence. Impressive, amazing qpr at purchase price. Wish I had another bottle to try in a few years.

Deep; rich; golden apricot-melon-oak; crusty; mellow round finish.

Popped and poured. Medium to full bodied. Still youthful with strong acidity. Lemon, tropical fruit, minerals and cut grass. Remarkably youthful.

Dinner at Rhythm: Knew the identity of the wine. A beautifully balanced wine – rich and nutty tropical fruit, soft and not the highest level of acidity but in no way flabby, some sweetness on the finish. Fantastic balance and my favourite of the night, I should really drink Cotat more often.
