This exclusive blend, limited to 1,913 bottles, combines wines from five specially selected barrels: Barrel 11481; Barrel 11484; Barrel 11486; Barrel 11489 and Barrel 11492, all now more than 50 years old. These wines have developed a unique character for half a century, ageing in small oak casks of 300 litres at Barros cellars in Vila Nove de Gaia, where the influence of the Atlantic ocean enhances their quality and elegance. Each bottle arrives at perfection in its rich golden-amber colour, elegant, silky body and notes of dried fruit and spices. It is an impressive and exuberant wine that conveys the talent of this historic Port House.
