2005 Michel Gonet Cuvee Authentique, Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut

Beautiful deep gold with subtle amber. Open nose offering up a lovely combination of nuts, pastries and delicate empyreumatic notes. The palate beguiles with its velvety fullness framed by freshness, its persistent aromas and strict finish.

Medium deep golden colour with medium intense bubbles. Ripe nose displaying some pastry, butter and a hint of oak it seems, attractive fruit with candied citrus, peach, apricot and some almond notes. The palate is nicely dry and salivating with a fine creaminess, generous fruit and well integrated oak, the finish has good persistency and bite, long, creamy and lush with fine maturity and drinkability.
