1967 Giovanni Scanavino Riservato agli Amici, Piedmont, Italy, D-Mag

A very exciting double magnum from the Piedmont in 1967 which was the vintage of the decade in this area of Italy. This wine is Nebbiolo based, but is a blend with, Freisa and Barbera. This wine has been available until recently in specialist wine shops by the bottle so I have high hopes that in the much larger Double Magnum format this could be an awesome bottle to base a proper party around!!!!
