A legendary vintage in Rioja, these bottles are in good condition with excellent levels, I have listed 1 but have 5 all together and would look at offers on 2 or more!!!

Spanish Wine Dinner with friends (Praelum Wine Bistro): Pale ruby. Pronounced nose with dried red cherry, bit of mint, barnyard, darkish florals, and slightly honeyed and caramelised. Tannins completely rounded, with some acids, sour cherry, brine, barnyard, and mint, then liquorice at the back. Quite a long finish. Interesting how this wine managed to hold its own over 50 years

Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Blind tasting without a plan (@Private location): Fully agree with m_arcon notes, nothing more to add. Drink more aged Rioja! Awesome PQR! 92

Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Crisscross Part II (Private Location): The next big surprise in this tasting and another proof that also middle class Riojas can age forever. A super funky nose with a complex mix of bouillon, iodine anchovies, sea salt, smoked meat but also some dried red berries after some air. Provençale herbs and coffee. Every minute you get a new layer.
Not that complex on the palate although the acidity is quite lively with some red currant notes. Also some smoke and salty flavors. Medium finish.
