1997 Vintage Tasted: Nov 2021
A controversial vintage in the house, it took more than a decade to show itself. It shows excellent color and an original, serious profile, with rockrose and bush appearing before the fruit. This then appears very expressive, alongside an elegant touch of rosemary. Solid tannins, dry grass, tense, immense character and longevity. 19/20
