Classic Nebbiolo aromas of red berry, leather, crushed flower and a balsamic note unfold in the glass. The full-bodied palate doles out juicy black cherry, licorice and tobacco alongside firm, refined tannins. Drink 2018–2026. 93

Nose: Raspberry. Liquorice. Tomato leaf. Dates. Figs. Vanilla. Blueberry loaf. Ginger. High aroma intensity. Wonderful and perfumed.
Palate: Blueberry. Vanilla. Dates. Umami. Raspberry. Strawberry. Dry. High tannins. Medium acidity. Medium plus body. High flavour intensity.
Finish: Medium plus finish.
Great wine. Very aromatic and flavourful. In it’s prime now, but will continue to develop over the next few years.
