The 2022 Release of The Glenturret Triple Wood is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky notable for being the highest-scoring Scotch at the 2023 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), where it was awarded 99 out of 100 points. Produced by Scotland’s oldest working distillery (est. 1763), this expression is part of a core range redesigned following the distillery’s acquisition by the luxury crystal maker Lalique hence the very smart glass bottles!!
The Glenturret Triple Wood has been matured in American and European oak Sherry seasoned casks alongside Bourbon barrels.These three barrels have been combined to create a delightfully subtle character. Vibrant spices are followed by peaches and vanilla with a sweet oaky finish.
