A recent tasting. “Another ball tearing Standish wine, what does one say . Find a better 07 Barossa Shiraz ( ok it has a little viognier in it) . Maybe a RBP would be as good. Think his Standish Shiraz would be even better than the Relic. But a cracker. Rich decadent, young, super sweet and long in the mouth . But slowly approaching readiness. I know some preferred it over the 99 Helbig. it was excellent but like the Helbig, old Standish’s are rare now and hard to get and under priced. Superb stuff. 97 points”
