  Two 1999 Cortons Tasted (Yan’s China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose was completely absent, must be in a dumb stage, the entire tasting. on the palate, medium/big body, opened very slowly over 2 hours to win the tasting, old style red Burgundy, very tasty, lovely red fruit, mouth filling, and a medium/long finish.

  1999 Burgundy Tasting (Yan’s China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose of red cherry, lots of red cherry today, and baker’s chocolate, nose was terrific today compared to last time tasted, same on the palate, medium/big body, very tasty, sweet cherry taste, lovely red fruit, mouth filling, and a medium/long finish.   Dom Perignon and 3 1999 Red Burgundy (Yan’s China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose of sweet and sour fruit, black cherry, red cherry, and mocha, nose needed a lot of coaxing which hurt the score, same on the palate, big body, tasty, sweet taste, lovely fruit, almost mouth filling and a long finish.
