  Wow what a whine. Musk, red cherries, the tannins are super smooth now good acidity – the domaine uses quite some new wood but this wine shows, that fruit from good terroir and talented winemakers can soak it up and put out something in perfect balance that transcendents time. this is how matured red Burgundy has to be.

  A pleine maturité Un seigneur. Profond, complexe, long en bouche. Ouverture trois heures à l’avance. Dominante de fruits noirs, une touche de cuir et de graphite. Un très grand vin. Prêt à boire.

  Ripe black fruit and briar balanced by nice tannic grip and acid. Touch of graphite. Very tasty and high on my pleasure scale – drinkable right now. 92-93.

  Iron, lovage, perfectly integrated barrique, concentrated cherry, not that much truffles, stellar acidity and super smooth tannins… To drink now and over the next five years seems to me to be the reasonable thing to do.
