HISTORY SCEAMERVEILLAUT
5 generations have succeeded one another in the field of viticulture.
The first was led by our ancestor Louis MERVEILLAUT (1800-1900).
His love of his profession and of doing good allowed him to obtain on November 29, 1889 the
“Gold Medal” at the Universal Exhibition in Paris for “its wine products”.
Subsequently, generations followed one another, passing on their knowledge.
Today, we cultivate and vinify 35 hectares in the commune of LALANDE DE FRONSAC, from vineyard work to bottling. While winemaking methods have certainly improved, we strive to maintain as many traditions as possible in winemaking, which makes us responsible for our finished product.
