My bottles are confusing me as there is a large variation in quality. This one was on the weaker side again with more ripeness than the previous one. Still good, but not the best bottle.

Deep purple core with some notable bricking at the rim. Nose of tobacco, candied fruit, vanilla, and some barnyard. Medium body with medium acid and some really pleasant velvety tannins. Red raspberries and blueberries on the palate. Really well-balanced and a great accompaniment for some reverse seared ribeye. In a great place right now.
