Description

2005 Vintage Tasted: Jan 2023
Ruby. Tight, firm, blackberries, cassis, minerals, fruit driven, nuanced nose, layered, some minerals beneath. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blackberries, detailed, nuanced and layered, still tight, long finish. 95pts
2005 Vintage Tasted: Jan 2008
This tastes of great Cabernet Sauvignon, with its black currant, cedar and herbs and fresh, juicy acidity. It is as fresh as it is rich, but it has a structure of dense tannins that balances the wine. This is one of the best wines from Gruaud-Larose for several years. 94pts
