Wine Review: This pale straw colored Kabinett level Riesling from the Mosel region of Germany opens with a faint pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. This Riesling leans towards the drier side. The flavor profile is a pre-ripe pineapple with notes of minerality and green apple. I also detected a hint of quince and saline. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger for a bit. I would pair this Riesling with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
