2014 mystere de belliard cabernet merlot blend barrels, 6 bottles

£195.00

These are beautiful bottles of a Cabernet, Merlot blend aged under the sea, so a bit of a curio but a good one with good reviews. The presentation is fantastic, I have a case of 12 all immaculate in OWC if you want the whole case but am going to put the other 6 in the shop so hurry if you do!! Belliard are a good outfit and I have happy memories of their wines.

My review disappeared and I have only noticed it now. Good job I wrote it in notepad. I’m enjoying this more than expected. 70%CS 30%M from various parts of Médoc. Aged for 24 months at a depth of 8 metres in an oyster bed in the Baie d’Arcachon. I’ll put a link to the website in the comments. There were signs of seepage with wine under the wax capsule and a clear mark on the cork and I was wondering if this was another bad auction buy, but no need to worry

Tried the 2014 vintage On the nose blackcurrants and blackberries vanilla. On the palate dry. Still tannins evolving nice long finish- good job
