A lovely bottle with good levels, a Cabernet Sauvignon dominated blend with Merlot from the Breganze Hills capable of considerable aging.

From 375, in a very nice spot, resolved tannin, long fruit, well balanced, very surprising

Decanted 4 hours before dinner. Heavily sedimented. Floral with watermelon and earthy notes. Still drinking well at a well and 23 years old. 93 points

Rich and complex nose of black fruit, aromatic spice, olives and matchbox.
Very elegant mouthfeel, thick, slightly bitterish, almost inky, very youthful. Impressive, though might be lacking freshness a bit to my taste. Prunes in the aftertaste. Classy.20 – Lype Likes this wine:

Fully open and singing now, cassis, cherries, licorice, savoury powerful features, at peak, very enjoyable and attractive.

5/13/2016 – Lype Likes this wine:

Good open nose, on the palate cassis, maraschino cherries, dark berries, an expressive wine which is drinking well now.
